COMPETIR + (Incentives System for Business Competitiveness) is an Incentives System under the Azores 2020 Operational Programme. Its objective is to promote the sustainable development of the regional economy and strengthen competitiveness, penetration in new markets and the internationalisation of regional companies, as well as to extend the Autonomous Region of the Azores' economic exports base.
- The refundable incentive is paid through a bank loan;
- Interest payable by the Client are fully subsidised.
Micro, Small, Medium-sized and Large Companies.
Transactions amount: 100% of the refundable incentive.
- Investment Projects ≤ € 2.000.000: 10 years (including 4 years principal grace period*);
- Investment Projects > € 4.000.000: 12 years (including 4 years principal grace period);
* For projects approved under the Local Development Incentives Sub-system the grace period is 3 years).
Within the scope of the credit decision process, BPI may require any guarantees admitted by law, which it deems appropriate to the risk of the operation.
